1 Tbsp dry mustard
¼ cup flour
1-½ lb round steak
½ tsp salt
dash pepper
1 cup carrots, diced (about 3 large)
1 lb can tomatoes, chopped
½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
½ cup chopped onion
*Mix mustard with flour. Dredge steak which has been cut into serving pieces through this and pound with meat mallet. Season with salt and pepper, brown meat on both sides in 2 Tbsp hot oil. Place in baking pan; top with onions, carrots, tomatoes, salt, Worcestershire and brown sugar. Bake at 350˚ 1 ½-2 hours until tender.

Meatballs for Spaghetti
1-½ cups soft white bread cubes (no crust), about 3 slices
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 pound ground beef
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp minced garlic
*Mix egg and milk; pour over bread and let sit 15 minutes. Mash cubes and add beef, cheese and garlic. Form into balls. Brown on all sides and add to sauce and simmer.
